Lleyton Hewitt's privacy subject to confidential settlement

The enfant terrible of Australian tennis and his actress wife have settled out of court a claim that his privacy was breached by a (gasp) harbour cruise operator who took photos of the pair while on their boat in December 2004. It is unclear in Australian law whether there is a right to sue for damages arising from a breach of privacy, but the Hewitts and the cruise operators reached a confidential settlement, obviously finding some balance between Hewitt's claim and the $3,971 they still owed for the harbour cruise.

According to one media report, the photographs are still being offered for sale.
